Hi,

I discovered FL via Tidbits. Matt Neuberg is the guy to watch ;-)
Thanks Matt.

I recently met Nancy Leveson & the STAMP model for safety modeling (via http://sunnyday.mit.edu/ )
It uses LDE for the connections but it seems very similar in many ways.
See http://sunnyday.mit.edu/accidents/safetyscience-single.pdf

Does anyone know if there are formal connections or relationship between the two techniques.

Thanks for pointing this out— I do see the resemblance but I don't know whether her techniques are derived from TOC. She has both phone and e-mail contacts on her home page— why not write and ask?
