And connecting when involved in a loop

When we have a vicious cycle (or other reinforcing loop), am unable to connect an “and” entity with the entity that creates the loop. Would realy appreciate the ability to do that, as the cause is frequently incomplete without the accompanying “and” entity.

Hi, Lisa!

You might consider whether the result of the “AND” should itself be a named entity, which in turn reinforces the initial situaiton:

Wolf, thanks. What I need to do is add an entity F that would be an “and” with E to cause A.

Same idea, give a name to what E and F cause together, call it G, and attach that back edge to it:

Thanks Wolf, But e and f together are a cause for a.
If it has to be this workaround, ok, but it adds more clutter in my view, as the new G will say exactly what A says.

You can consider this a workaround. But if I saw a specific example, I wonder whether G would necessarily say exactly what A says, or whether it could actually be more descriptive of the causal chain.
